Heidelberg, 18 September 2026 – paretos is positioned in the Major Players Category in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Decision Intelligence Platforms 2026 Vendor Assessment (IDC #US54118426, September2026).
paretos builds an agentic decision intelligence platform for the operational decisions of large enterprises: manufacturers, retailers and other planning-intensive companies run their planning and steering on data and automated decision logic, from demand forecasting through to replenishment. With Socrates, its conversational layer, planning teams and executives ask their questions innatural language and build dashboards that pull numbers across system boundaries, without the detour through an analytics team.
“We build paretos for the moment planning and operational decisions are actually made. We believe being named as a Major Player in this category is an encouragement along the way and a push for what we have planned with agentic workflows.”, says Thorsten Heilig, CEO and co-founder of paretos.
